NYC Trip + Travel Advice

Just got back from my New York City Trip. It was filled with so many great experiences. I honestly love NYC. This is not the first time I have been to NYC but it was the first time I stayed the night in NYC and I would do it again!

We stayed at the Sheraton New York in Time Square.

Places to go!

Brooklyn Bridge:Such a fun experience. You get to walk all along the bridge and see so much of the beauty of the city! I highly recommend!

Empire State Building: The view at the end is well worth the wait!

Times Square: I love just walking through as well as shopping and
eating!!

Rockefeller Center:So much there! There is tons of shopping as well as so many things to see. The tree is absolutely beautiful! There is even ice skating.

Broadway Show: We chose to see The Lion King. I highly recommend it to anyone. It was absolutely amazing!! A must see!!!

9/11 Memorial: Beautiful memorial and a great chance to see and remember those who have fallen.

Central Park: So many iconic movies filmed in central park. There are tours that are given if you don't feel like walking.

Places to Shop!

There are so many places to shop in NYC. Honestly everywhere you turn your head there is a store. So going to the city you won't have a problem finding somewhere to shop! Three of my favorite stores were Saks, Macy's and Cartier.

Saks Fifth Avenue: It is not only beautiful on the outside but on the inside as well! They do a light show on the building that is just stunning. It is 10 floors!!

Macy's: It is the world's largest store! It is decorated so beautifully on the inside and the windows on the outside are so adorable! I could spend all day in there.

Cartier: Another store that is decorated beautifully. The big bow on the outside is really what grabs your attention!

Places to Eat!

There are SOOOO many places to eat! There is such a variety of places to eat. From Chinese to Mexican to Italian and so much more!

One little spot I ate dumplings at was NOM WAH.

Little Italy has the best cannoli's! I loved Cannoli King. The shell was so crunchy and delicious.

Carmines is an italian family style restaurant. Their garlic bread was cheesy goodness! and there fudge cake was to die for!

A Mexican restaurant I loved was Dos Caminos! They had great chips with guacamole and salsa. My husband said their tacos were the best he had ever had!

A little stand that we found was called Waffles and Dinges. BEST Belgian waffles ever!!
